We may not have planned to spend a night in King Salmon but enjoyed our stay very much. The Antler Inn was well located, close to the air terminal and a saloon which served good food, and the room in which we stayed was clean and functional.
However, it was not the facilities that we will remember most; it was the outstanding kindness and friendliness of Flora, including lending us her cell phone to make and receive international calls to sort out our travel predicament, which will stay in our memory the most. She and others at the Inn looked after us extremely well.

Cleanest rooms in King Salmon
“Antlers Inn has the best value and cleanest rooms in King Salmon. It is next to the bank, restaurants, the store, and across from the airport. JC & Flora treat you like family. I stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment style with full kitchen although they have different types of rooms. They also picked me up at the airport and were helpful throughout my stay.”

Rough it Cabin:
“Got a much needed rest at sockeye cabin. They are rustic but very adequate. Who needs a TV in Alaska? Flora was very accommodating and even loaned us a sleeping bag for our back country trip. I’d stay there again. Thanks, Flora!” -John

“We loved our cabin! So spacious and clean, great lighting, comfortable bed. Everything we needed was brought to our room immediately and your staff were all friendly. The special accessibility features for my husband who is an amputee could not have been better. Even the in-room coffee was good! Thank you for a wonderful stay!” -Ruth

“Stayed five nights in one of the Sockeye cabins and it suited me perfectly. Clean, comfy and the water was hot which was appreciated every night coming back from Katmai Park. The owner Flora was SUPER nice and helpful with all of my questions etc. Walk to airport, grocery store, restaurant, saloon which also serves food. Wifi worked great. Will definitely stay here again as it was the perfect place to stay when headed out on day trips to the Katmai Park/Brooks Falls.” -Carolyn
